A Message from Leslie

I am honored and delighted to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer at Mutual Agricultural Software Alliance (MASA), and I am excited about the opportunities ahead as we chart a course for the next phase of growth.

Over the past 15 years, I have been privileged to lead software development initiatives, initially in the financial services sector before transitioning my focus to agriculture eight years ago. My journey into agriculture began with my family's establishment of a livestock operation in 2016, where we raise breeding cattle and goats. Since then, I have dedicated myself to the agricultural industry, shaping product strategy at DTN and most recently serving as VP of Product at Bushel.

My educational background includes an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from Marquette University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
My passion for product and software development is driven by a desire to leverage technology in addressing real-world challenges to make a tangible difference for users. My connection to agriculture is deeply rooted in my admiration for the hardworking producers who strive to earn a livelihood while nurturing a legacy for future generations.

I am eager to build upon MASA's established foundation, leveraging our robust farm accounting, cost management, and enterprise reporting solution. With the invaluable support of our user-member-owners and subject matter experts, I am committed to delivering continued value to our customers.

I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you at the FBS/MASA booth (V166) during the World Pork Expo on June 5-6 in Des Moines, IA, and/or at the FBS/MASA User Conference in Moline, IL on September 10-11.

Can We Trust Ag Data in 2024?

University of Illinois Extension specialist Emerson Nafziger advises farmers to keep their eyes wide open against company research claims in Prairie Farmer.

"Farmers ultimately want to know if a product works — or more than pays its way over years and fields. But 'works' is almost impossible to answer, especially since many products are sold as addressing deficiencies that many fields and crops do not experience."
